I had a girlfriend who was

missing an eye once. She was extra sensitive to the smell of pheromones, but they worked well on her.

As a sighted person I find even

attempting to read brail impossible. The senses of hearing, touch and smell for those without sight are known to be

considerably enhanced when compared to those with sight.Nature compensates.
It might be right up the same alley of

a study I once read about regarding mothers being able to recognize thier infant children by smell.Anybody else here

remember reading about that?

Infants also recognize the scent of their mother

with minimal exposure to breast odor. High school students rate the T-shirt odor of their friends higher than casual

aquaintences. Men and women can sniff out genetic differences related to "tissue type." Refs are on the Scientific

Evidence page of my web site.

No experiences with blind women. But

a couple of years ago I passed by a blind guy that was selling newspapers downtown.
Out of the dozens of people

that walked by him, he called out “Hey, mister.” Just as I was walking by.
I thought he was going to pitch one

of his newspapers at me, so I stopped to pull out my wallet. But he asked me if I could “show” him where the nearest

bathroom was.

Apparently this supposedly charitable outfit had dropped him off earlier that day. He

didn’t know where he was or how to get to the nearest rest room. No lunch break and he only made 25 cents a paper (I

guess they told him he would score big on tips.)

Anyway. I led him to a restroom, helped him buy a

burger and wondered if it was karma or pheromones that made him pick me out of the crowd.
