I just installed a DSL connection at home today!
Isn't modern technology wonderful? I think my
connection at home is faster than the government's connection at work. I feel like I've graduated from a four
cylinder car to a V-12 Ferrari.
It's been a long time coming. As some know from reading the living at home
thread, I share the house with other family members and we only have one phone line. My Internet habit sometimes
caused hard feelings with the others, especially my brother. I'm glad I held out until DSL was available here
instead of paying for a second line. Not only is it faster, but in the long run, I think it'll be cheaper than
paying for a second line and a dialup connection.
