Okay, here is an odd topic twist.

I have an female friend/aquaintance who actually wants to

drive away or otherwise discourage people (mainly guys) from approaching her.

Suprising I know, given that most users here on this forum are probably looking to attract people. Long

story, but she basically wants to be left alone for a while.

Due to requirements of her employment she can't

look too frumpy or scary. Effect needs to be subtle.

So, oh wise and great readers, what do you suggest?

Ain't no 'mones gonna repell a

horndog, no how. However, pepper spray will do every time.

I assume she doesn't want to bother telling guys

she ain't interested. And doesn't want to make herself fat or ugly? She could act/dress butch and most guys will

let her alone. Of course lesbians might get attracted but there are fewer lezzies to repell than horny men.

Maybe spread a rumor she has AIDS?

Hmm, there was a woman on CNN last week that handcuffed her man,

cut off his dick with a kitchen knife and flushed it down the crapper. Maybe a conspicuously placed knife and

handcuffs on her desk might discourage would-be suitors.

Or just wear a wedding band. About 75% of would-be

suitors will steer clear. The other 25% are looking for a no-commitment fling.

The only thing I can think of that

she may be able to wear is -Rone.

That could work. Women seem to get a buzz from it, but I am a bit worried

that the amount her goal may require her would bother her too.

Is she super hot and the guys in the office

are all trying to get with her?

Sorry dude. I ain't buyin the load of crap she's sellin.

Basically, she is saying that she wants the dweebs, goobers and losers(in her mind anyway) to bug off. But if a guy

comes along that makes her juice box hot, she'll make an exception.

She could grow a mustach?

But

seriously, I feel NO pity for her! That comes with the territory of being able to have to priveliege of choosing in

the sexmarket. It's a luxury problem me thinks, but she's too spoiled to realize it..

Well, I have to take this person at

her word that whe wants to retreat for a while. She is young-ish (late 20's I think - one learns not to ask a woman

their age...), "cute," and does attract some attention. Not a "10" on the scale, but still... She has to keep a

semi-positive appearance at work. Unfortunately she is employed in a position where getting fat and ugly isn't the

way to go, and, although I'm sure the suggestions were offered in jest, an AIDs rumor is a no-no. And a wedding

band would just cause more problems as I have a hunch that is part of the original problem (and internal office

gossip). I had already suggested the body language idea. Part of the deal is that some people won't take a verbal

"no," some don't pick up on body language, etc. etc. We're just exploring alloptions, and the use of 'mones etc,

if used to attract, may also send that subconcious message to "lay off." There are those who claim that a woman at

certain times of the month produce a "stay away" scent. We are dealing with an office/work environment where

"politics" and appearance come into play.

Remember this is NOT a nightclub or "out partying" situation, where a

firm "no," a slap in the face, or other deception would work (or of course, just staying home). This is got to be

something subtle and ongoing until such time as she wants to change it. It's possible that one of the "problems"

may be an office superior where taking any real physical action may de detrimental to one's employment. Yes it

happens folks, laws or no.

And thanks to those of you who left serious suggestions/observations. And the

friendly humorous suggestions are cool.

Well, A1 and Rone is a good

suggestion, but it won't do a damn thing if she doesn't try. Theoretically (spl), it should help. It's pricy,

but the a-1 and some rone would also make her feel good.

She could start smokin'

stogies.

Okay, again, thanks for the

responses so far.

In summary here is what I have:

More or less on-topic:
Just Say No (If they'll

listen)
Wedding band (out of office or face gossip)
Body language (If they pick up on it)
Fake boy friend (maybe

-depends on situation/environment)
Smokin' Stogies (hey maybe... )

Pretty much on-topic (pheromones) (and

credit goes to the following posters:) :
-rone (bjf)
-rone + A1 (DrSmellThis)
-AE/m (Watcher)

I'm going

to guess there isn't a product that matches these combos except AE. The rest will need to be "concocted/mixed."

Who know? There may be a market for this stuff. I'd guess that if there are people who want to "attract" people,

there may be people who want to "repel" people. Call it "Go Away, Mope!"

I really don't see anything wrong

with being able to decide if you want to be approached or not. Your personal freedom of choice. And if some people

out there are using 'mones for one purpose, why can't others use it for an opposite effect?

Anyway, I'm still

open to suggestions. And I really think that if I wanted to study how to attract people, I might also want to know

how to purposefully repel. By understanding one, you might learn some insights on the other. Much like purposeful

ODing to test limits and reactions. I think this was a question that needed to be asked.

P.S. to those who

jestfully recommended pepper spray, it's now illegal in some parts. Ref.: For example it is either now banned or

about to be banned in Chicago IL due to the 2004 "E2 Nightclub Disaster" where the use of pepper spray to break up a

fight was blamed for the stampede deaths of about 20 people (blocked exits).

Why not introduce a

fake boyfriend there?I mean make a fake plan that you are her boyfriend,so she is commited to you,you are engaged,go

take her after work with your car, that way,if she stays calm and serious and she projects the image that she does

not want to be approached by another man that is ok.What do you think?
Good idea, but not practical for

most situations with her. Might be an idea if I (or someone else) accompanied her to some places. Might help at her

place of employment if she makes enough of a show of it. She gets also gets tapped for doing trade show booth work

etc. sometimes cuz she's young and halfway cute, but the wedding band idea may be best there.

Thanks for the

input.

She could also rub limburger

cheese and rancid meat all over her body, and drink a fifth of Jack Daniels every day before work.

Glad to be of

help.

They make this "cadaver" scent used

to train search dogs. Now if you could get a hold of some of this...

I'm not sure how much ae/m would

help. It might increase hits, as well as make her feel not so great.

Sheesh, it can't be that hard!

When I want to be left alone I just lay low, give polker face and ignore those that insist. Eventually they get the

message. You don't need to get mean, ugly, stinky or nasty. Basically, give budda face and being left alone is a

cinch. You can be unfriendly but still appear professional (albeit a bit of a tight shirt).

Here is the sad truth. If she was

interested in Rbt, she would help him out. Saying that she just wants space or to be by herself for a while is

women's language. It means I don't want to hook up with YOU!

Every girl that gave me that line, was

screwing someone else, within a month of telling me that song and dance line.

Rbt, I don't blame you to

keep trying but it sounds like you're just gonna bang you head against the wall.

As for her - well tell her about this website and let

her make up her own mind

The boyfriend idea sounds reasonable

I can do her a cosmetic surgery

that'll cause her to repel men forever. The effect is perpetual and guaranteed to work. Ask her to contact me if

she's really serious about this.

Otherwise, I just look at it as a feeble attempt to show off. It's one of

those tricks she uses to communicate that "she is the prize". Don't buy into it!

"It's one of those tricks

You mean like the "cat's

meow"? Hell's bells bro, the guy might as well play the same stupid game and act like "he is the prize." They'd

either repell one another or make a "prize" couple.

Interesting thread, yikes. Why not

a -none OD? That plus lots of A1 should be good.

Yeah although i think the

requirement is that the effect needs to be subtle; a -none OD will probably make her reek of piss or BO.
