The point system in the forum...

I can't figure out how the "point system" works in the forum.
(sometimes, it goes up, sometimes, it goes down... )

I have done research in

the F.A.Q. and didn't find anything.

How do we accumulate point exactly ( beside

posting ) ? What is the purpose of "donating" points ? What,s the difference between the "public display" of points

(below our nick) and the "bank" ?
