This is a real loss for
America. I learned so much about my culture from growing up with him. I had a little TV in my bedroom and would
watch it every night while falling asleep. He was of course the best ever at his job. But mainly, I think a great
many of us just feel a loss, since he was a big part of our lives for so many years. I know I do. When somebody like
that dies it brings the whole transience thing home.
I watched several hours of his show on tape over the
holidays, and enjoyed it thoroughly.
Thanks Johnny!

I agree.
I used to watch the
« tonight show » when he was on. Jay leno is good but doesn't have the same appeal.
I'm looking forward in
watching television programs in tribute to Johnny.
