PI mix with APC????

i mixed PI with APC and saw in a tube that a thin film formed sepearting the two mixtures...looks as though it\'s not mixing well.. anyone else have this problem??

Had this problem before. If you want your mix the way it is now try adding a drop of dish detergent. Someone (I think Oscar) suggested someone else try that. It works the detergent breaks down the barrier. But how much PI and APC?

That was Whitehall\'s suggestion about the detergent. I probably wouldn\'t try that as I have very sensitive skin, and any soap product not thoroughly rinsed off will cause itching or rash for me.

I\'m surprised about the mix because I did a small test batch about a month ago (70% APC/30%PI) and it\'s STILL not separating! Looks like one liquid, before and after agitation.

Were both the PI and APC purchased from Love-Scent? Any chance you\'re working with a bootleg APC, or PI?
Could the temperature of the products at time of blending have some effect?
