Interesting article on

the sixth sense: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,142822,00.html

BTW, anyone who can afford

pheromones who won't donate under these circumstances has a lot to be ashamed

of.

Even if you cannot donate

money, they need blood donors.

I saw something about the animals somewhere else too. Experts were amazed that so

few animals died. There's no real reason to attribute it to a sixth sense though. Some scientists think animals

detect pre-earthquake tremors through the ground vibrations. There has been reearch in the past demonstrating that

many birds and whales can detect the earth's magnetic field and use it to navigate. Is it a coincidence that so

many whales have beached in the past month or so? It took a while for those forces to reach critical and let loose.

I wonder how the animals in the area were acting in the 12-24 hours prior to the quake. I was in the Loma Prieta

quake that broke the Bay Bridge in California. My pets were weird for almost a week before and more than a month

after that.
