Hallois

I've got dry skin on my scalp under my hair (not the entire scalp, but more concentrated in smaller

areas). I don't know if it is because some sort of exema or just dry skin, but I know that I've had cases of

atopic exema before..

Anyways, what I'm curious is if anyone can give any good tips on something to apply to

get a normal scalp??

..I'll be buying a water ionizer soon, so will try with acid water then.. (almost

enough paypal now :) )

Well, any tips are really appreciated.

Thanks,

TheViking

I had a small case of Seborrhea

on my scalp and forhead. Of course the doctor wanted to prescribe topical steroids.

I bought some stuf called

Skin Zinc and that cleared it up in a week. It's supposed to be just as good for exema.

Hallois

I actually got

some liquid steroid stuff for my scalp from the doctor today :| ..haven't used it yet though, the "normal side

effects" sounded much worse than what i'm having now :frustrate

Thanks for your advise. I'll go to a

health store tomorro and see what they've got and try that I think

I couldn't find skin zinc at

any health store. I just did a Google search on it and ordered it. There's a couple different brands but Skin Zinc

is the origianl.

Hallois

Have you used it? Is it like a treatment for a period of

time, or is it something you become a life-long user of?

Skin Zinc sounds a bit scary, don't like the fact

that it's got hydrocotison in it which is suppose to make your skin thinner..

What? I don't see any hydrocortison in these

ingredients!

The whole idea behind it is it has no steroids.

Hallois.

I did my google

again and found this site:

http://www.bodytherm.com/category-skin.htm?

source=google-skinzinc (http://www.bodytherm.com/category-skin.htm?source=google-skinzinc)

Our ( Skin Zinc ) Products, Derma-Zinc and Clara-Zinc are manufactured in

the United States; They contain very effective Zinc Pyrithione, Salicylic acid and Hydrocortisone in their Formulas

and have been proven effective in treating most skin disorders.
Hmm, when reading it again it might be

Derma-Zinc or Clara-Zinc that contains hydrocortisone..?
