Unread posts not shown in BOLD - why?

How come that unread posts in other forums than the "Pheromone Discussion" isn't shown in

BOLD?

When I access the forum mentioned above all new posts are marked, but only in that particular

forum.

Is this a feature or a bug?

On my computer, they are shown in

bold in all forums equally. Once you open a particular forum, even for an instant, that is the end of it though I

think. It's not really "unread". More "new since the last time you looked at this forum's offerings."
