What's going on? I can't see who's actually online anymore  ..

Now we can see who's been on the forum the most but now due to

this we can't send SMS

Is this

something new? or will it be back to how it was?

OK...I see what you

mean now! I clicked a link in an email notification to go right to a thread and did not come through the front

door.

It looks like you can still SMS if you click on the "Currently Active Users" link where it lists the

active users. Next, you'll see a screen of who's online and there is a bubble icon to the right of everybody's

listing. Click the bubble and it starts the SMS.

I see what you

mean. But I don't think I like it. I rather see who's online on top like it was.. I guess I'll just have to get

used to this new way huh? heh

While we're on the subject,

are the "Google Spiders" and "MSN Spiders" the search engines looking through the forum to bring up web results for

people running searches?

circled arrow on the right of the bar that reads "Currently Active Users"? The arrow thingie toggles the list of

users.

The spiders are our

friends :) They do index the forum and have them available for people searching for certain topics.

Yes the google search results show

quite a bit of the love-scent forums - i think it is a good idea to have them searching the site - the more links

the more prominent pheromones become when someone searches for them.

Yep, a pain in the a$$

And, although I know we won't ever get an explanation, I'll ask

the question: why was it changed?

As I understand it, it had to

do with the number of links at the top of the page and the Internet search Engine's ability to index them properly.

Don't have all the details but that's the basics of what I was told.
