I read a
postinging serveral weeks ago that indicated there was new research on pheromones in gay males. This was going to
lead to a specific product for gay men. Has there been any progress on this front. I do not believe it is a matter
of simply using female products.

Ernie,
From what I have
read, if you are trying to attract gay men the last thing you would want to do is wear female pheromones. A gay man
is attracted to a male's pheromone signature

there is a website that
sells pheromones for gay men but I can't recall it's name. Just out of curiousity I queried them about pheromone
content and they squirmed around that issue so I suspect the pheromone content in their product is miniscule at
best. There have been other gay men on this site and perhaps one of them will reply here and give you some help.
Good Luck!!!

There has been discussion about
this in the past here. Research indicates that gay males have a different ratio of ~mones than streight males.
Almost female, but not quite. Do a search (I'm too freakin lazy), JV Kohl has some postings on the subject here.

I'm not gay, and I'm ashamed
to admit it... (bet you'll never hear anyone ever say that...)
I must have bought the gay pheromones by
accident because I'm always approached by men... (joking about the first part...not exactly joking about the
second)
Seriously, logic would tell me that whatever attracts people attracted to men would be what product you
use...that may not be correct reasoning, but since homosexuals are attracted to members of the same sex whether they
are homosexual or not...I'd say that it makes the most sense. In other words, what Bel said.
...but maybe
there is something to the slight difference because I'm not such a "man's man" but more of a "nice guy"...so maybe
my pheromone signature is different. Who knows?

You want to reduce -rone
compared to hetero men.

I bought a gay pheromone,
actually 2 different ones, both unscented. One of them is Androstadienone and estratetraenol in a "proprietary
blend" Definitely a mone stink to it. The other one just says it was "made from human pheromones" and I can't
smell anything at all with it.
I should add, the first one is the one that works great on pregnant bitchy
girls.

I think it's a lot more than that. I'm not gay but, with or without 'mones, gay
men often hit on me. The attraction happens long before they get upwind of me, so I think gay men are drawn in more
by visual appearance. Women, on the other hand, never spot me at a party and make an immediate beeline for my
cute tush. I have to work them at different levels, especially verbal centers, to spark a woman's interest.

No argument on that. The
question was directed at what mones to wear. To fully do this subject justice we could probably work at it for years
and never come to anything conclusive.

Men are more visually
stimulated than women are when it comes to arousal. I think that's why pornography is more popular with males than
females. So, though there is a difference in gender preference between straight and gay males, the visual
stimulation factor probably holds true to both types.

Refering back to my earlier post,
here is something that JV Kohl posted in another thread:
"-nol and -none were discovered to be very effective
as pheromones in pigs. With pheromones, species specificity is a general rule, so we can expect that -nol and -none
would be somewhat less effective as human pheromones. Humans are unique among mammals in that we produce large
quantities of the adrenal androgen: dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA),which breaks down into -rone and
etiocholanolone (E). -rone/E ratios are higher in men compared to women, with homosexual men having ratios similar
to women. Given a sufficient knowledge of neuroendocrine development and function -rone/E ratios clearly
indicate that these metabolites of DHEA are most likely to play a role as human pheromones--with -rone playing its
role as the most characteristically male pheromone."

At least one recent study has shown that
women are also stimulated visually by erotic imagery--though the stimulated women do not usually report their
arousal. Only when hormone levels were measured did the disparity between self report and reality become
clear.
