Do we have any Lottery
enthusiasts here?
I've had a VERY good week in the lottery here. Saturday night (as in six days ago) I won
$750, Wednesday night I won $400 and last night I won $1000. $2150 in six days, not too shabby ... I think I'll
go and order one of everything :p
Just wondering if anyone else plays :)

tickets?
I'll play on occasion. But I never win any big amounts, at least not yet...just a couple of bucks
with the instant games.

I buy powerball tickeets a
couple times a month. Most I've ever won was 7$ I think. I like to buy lottery tickets on raodtrips especially,
get them from a gas station I'll never see again.

I rarely purchase lottery
tickets but I do like going to the dog track. I've also had a recent winning streak and am up about $480. since we
moved here in May. Let's hope this new luck continues!!!

Good for you cuddlebear! What State and game do you play?
I play about $11 a week, for
California's and Arizona's Wednesday and Saturday big games. $6/week for California and $4/week for Arizona, plus
a California $1 scratcher most weeks (usually a "Big Spin"). I put more money in the California game as their
jackpot starts higher, $7M compared to the starting jackpot of $1M in Arizona. I'll play Powerball if I hear the
jackpot's high but the winners always seem to be on the eastern side of the country for that game. Haven't won
really big yet on any of the games.
Never cared much for dog racing, but I do like horse racing.
Unfortunately, the local races are no more. The operators are blaming their demise on the Indian casinos that have
been built in Arizona. I disagree with that premise as I think that they would attract a totally different type of
gambler. But then I'm biased against slot machines and feel they're a complete waste of money (though a friend's
wife did win $3.8M on a progressive slot in Las Vegas a few years ago).
So once again, I have to go to San
Diego or Phoenix if I wanted a horse racing fix. Luckily, I'm not that much of a gambler to make a trip just for
that. (Though the Learning Annex has a class in San Diego at the Del Mar track every year that looks
interesting...)
