Has anyone checked the reference material recently (link at the top right of your page) ?

;)

What do you

guys think?

The colours will probably change, I just wanted to hammer out a version by today.

Anyway,

features include:

All of the basic reference material items (product table, cookbook etc.).
A link

to the current location of abductor's PmixCalc.
A spreadsheet (made by moi), complete with user guide,

to handle most of your maths related pheromone woes. More accurately, it's a spreadsheet for calculating various

pheromonal quantities (in mixes or aplications). You don't have to download it, you can open it in your browser

(recommended for the time being).
With more to come!

Let me know what you think; questions, comments,

etc.

Enjoy!

Cheers Goss!

The whole

point of the pherolibrary is to allow people write/create/etc. various things the are relevant to phero usuage.

So if people have an interesting link, post it here or PM me.

Likewise for anything else you might deem

interesting or relevant.

Lookin' good Cappy.

Folks,

CptKipling is the new "Phero Librarian". Talk to him if you have any ideas/submissions for the Library. Soon to

appear: Back issues of the Pheronews

Bruce,

I'm very happy to hear

that the back issues of the Phero News will be included in the pherolibrary.com database, and I agree that

CptKipling has done a stellar job with both the construction of his spreadsheet application and the organizing of

the other reference material.

But something struck me when I read the following post from ManBeast earlier in

this thread:

Awesome! I can't wait to get Chikara on there! :D

MB
It occurred to

me that since we don't have any solid numbers on any of the pheros contained in Chikara 7, that this otherwise

excellent product will be relegated to the "Unknown Content" netherworld that is populated by such products as

"Yes", "Lure", the "IR Colognes", and the "SPMO's".
These products, due to their lack of disclosed content will

likely never appear on the spreadsheet, the calculator, the product table, or anywhere else that products with

disclosed content appear.
Chikara 7 deserves better.

Now I'm certainly not proposing that you just give away

the formula in its entirety so that a dozen or two other phero suppliers can do knock-offs and radically reduce your

market share. What I would suggest is that you release the content of the three ingredients that you HAVE told us

are in there: the None, Nol, and Rone. Then Chikara could be listed according to its KNOWN constituents with a

separate column (like WAGG's) for its "secret ingredients" (which you would need not even name).

That way

those of us who combine and mix products could know at least how much of the "Big 3" we could use to augment Chikara

without risking OD, AND you'd still have what amounted to a "Proprietary Formula" since nobody would know what the

other 4 phero ingredients were. And of course then Chikara would also be able to be included in the various info

sources with the other calculable products.

Whatever DID happen to the "7" in Chikara's name? I've still got

the little hand-labeled atomizer that you sent out the sample in, and I thought that the "7" really added something.

"C7" is a much cooler abbreviation than "Chi" or "Ck". They're too ambiguous.

Oscar :)

Guys,

I have just

updated.

I have added a kind of beta version of the Pheronews back issues section because I'm still bogged down

with formatting the older issues. Like Oscar was saying, the Pheronews section is a really good addition, there is

absolutely LOADS of information in there. There is new and interesting material for old and new users, aswell as an

archive for a lot of scientific papers etc.

RE the issues about secret ingredients: It would be fine (from the

point of view of the spreadsheet anyway) to include a "C7 secret ingredients" field and just know the -none, -nol,

and -rone figures. I still find it very usefull to know that information for TE and NPA, and it would be the same

for C7.

Thanks again for the kind words.

p.s. Oscar, lets bring back the C7 abbreviation! :D

You know, Oscar, those were

really interesting questions. :) ;)

Captain, again several thanks go out to you for your hard work on the

Kipling Memorial Presidential Library. You are a valued member of the love-scent community, a member who, by the

very nature of his dedication, diligence, dilapidation, diatribe and dilatory, has done more for the site, nay, for

humanity, than a number of other people who have done certain other things for humanity, or even for other species,

people whose humanitarian stature are in no way tarnished by the fact that I can't recall who they are. But anyway,

my point of honor is clear.

Yeah, Capt. K is da man! Let's flood the guy with reps and points (I just donated 2,000). Very nice job. Now folks will notice that I reran the oldies, but what the heck. :)

Thanks CK.

One of these days, I'll post the amounts of the big 3 in Chikara; just being cautious. Hey, we haven't even come out with the labels yet, and we are working on boxes too.

Does anyone know what the rules

are for hosting PDF articles and the text from articles?

The reason I ask is that I find it a great shame to

lose a research article because someone stops hosting it, and I also have a few PDF versions that I have saved over

the years.

Anyone?

Ok people,

the second ever update of the pherolibrary is finished, and is uploading as I type.

It's mostly a major

facelift with the inclusion of a new section: The Product Guide. This will provide information that users and

propective buyers might find useful.

Check it out :)

I like it, although the last

few answers (especially the application points one) seem a little too brief. Since a lot of guys ask about how much

to apply, and where, I think a few paragraphs suggesting different application techniques (to be tried individually

on separate days) would be very helpful.

Otherwise, excellent work.

CptKipling
12-03-2004, 12:05 PM
Friendly,

I didn't ignor

you when you suggested an applications advice section, that WILL be included, but in a section that would suit a

more lengthy discussion. I meant to (and will add to the final version) a link refering people the Product Guide

which oes suggest some application points and methods for individual products.

Thanks for the posts, Friendly et

I found an incomplete answer in

the Newbie FAQ:

Q: How long does it take pheromones to affect an individual in my presence?

A: The scientific evidence in this area can be misleading. For the record, this states that the actual

pheromone-hormone-mood axis takes about 10-15 minutes to work, but a conditioned response can be instantaneous. In

other words,
Also, you might want to extend this answer a little:

Q: What about

people I know already, will pheromones work on them as well?

A:Yes. For example, many people

report female friends getting touchy all of a sudden.I would add that married people have reported

improvement in interest and activity with their spouses and people in long-term relationships have reported

improvement with their boy/girlfriends.

Hey CptKipling,
I was

just looking through the library and noticed that you added Chikara to it, but there is a problem. Now when you

click on either Chikara, Perception, or PPA they all link to the information on Chikara. This is under product

information...just something you update when you get the chance.

I've just added a google

search function, which is very cool. Now you can search the Pherolibrary vaults for whatever you need, with the

speed and reliability of googe!

The only problem is that the google bots haven't index'ed the entire site

Enjoy!

btw, it's at the bottom of the main page.

Hi guys,

Please visit www.pherolibrary.com/test (http://www.pherolibrary.com/test) and let me know what you

First of all thanks for the

hard work it looks good but you asked for feed back so I will give you some.

1. I think it would be better if

when you clicked on a link it didn't open a smaller window but kept reusing the same window.
2. I would like to

see the products table to be updated with all the products available out there for example WAGG.
3. I was unable

to find the "Love Scent Pheromone Calculator" so maybe it should be a link on the outside with the other main

links.

I hope you find this feedback helpfull and not critical at all!

Marlboro_man
01-20-2005, 11:46 AM
Never mind the last message

as I just realized that the link that you provided is different than the one on the main site. I will take a look

at the new one instead. SORRY.

Wow!!
That's looking good, I

haven't been paying attention to this thread or the updates. Love the product guide, its perfect for newbies.

The inconsistency of opening a link in a frame or a new window or the current window is a little annoying. Other

than that, it looks fantastic. Hope Bruce is hooking you up with a discount or something.

One other thing, in

the cookbook, it gives a drink recipe from Whitehall, and links to a place to get damiana liquor. That link opens

inside a frame, so you have no information about the store your buying it from. Would be much better in its own

window.

CptKipling
01-20-2005, 12:31 PM
Ok I just lost my reply in a

server error...

Thanks for the feedback guys!

Where are the links opening in new windows? Something has gone

slightly crazy with the links, I think Dreamweaver messed up the last upload; it's not there in places and wrong in

others  .

I must emphasize that this is a beta, so all or most of the stuff is there but none or little

of it is working yet ;)

Keep it comming

It looks very nice and clean,

excpet for the rollovers making that tacky ovalish blue effect. Change that to something a bit more clean, maybe a

glowing square or something and it will be fantastic. I do design and graphics, so if you need ANYTHING at all,

scripting, anything, I will be more than willing to help as this is a great cause for me and everyone else. It's

looking really sharp I must say.

The only thing I do not like is

that i can't open the calculator. I think that this was this what I seareched for. I mentioned it in my first

thread. You remember?
Wasn't it this link which tells how much a dap of TE edge is? ...

By the way I

think you had not soe included.
I found smwhere in the forum the calculation for it.

If this would help:

SOE

28 inches of SOE are 1ml. So 4 inches will give you a total amount of about 0.07mg (0.056mg

nol plus 0.014mg rone)

I think dreamweaver has

crippled the link on the old index, here is the link for the calculator

I'll be

updating with the new version of the pherolibrary soon so it wont matter.

Thanks for the SOE info, but I already
