They do have the same pheromones,

but the Essentials have some serious essential oil support. If you bought the Heat version, I don't think you

wasted your money, but for a newbie, I suppose you could have spread it around a little better. Let's see what

others say though.

Well, some guys like it. It smells like patchouli to me; not my cup of tea. A

guy on another thread says it smells good an hour or more after application. Be careful not to use too much and let

it sit on your skin for a while before you make a decision on it. You might like it. I used to wear patchouli a

lot when I was young.

it is easier to mix arouser (cedar)

with other products than edge heat

what else do you have?

I think

that Chikara, Edge/NPA and Unscented SOE are the three most important products to have. And they can be used

together.

Don't be so keen to mix!

Try them both out on their own; three or four dabs of Edge, or 2 small well spread out dabs of NPA, or mix a small

amount of NPA with some cologne in a ratio of 1 part NPA to every 3, 4, or 5 parts NPA (depends on how you feel the

cologne covers it, but I would tend to lean towards the 1:4 option).
