My girlfriend

Sue has always made her own scent consisting of Petchouli oil and other items. She stopped making it after "Pheros"

was introduced here but that has since run out and she's back to using either "Spark" or her old standby Petchouli

mix. She has been stopped on the street in the past by other women who felt a need to comment on her petchouli

scent, they compliment her, ask her what it is, and are surprised when she tells them she makes it herself and they

often suggest she sell it. We toyed with that idea but found out, as DST and Bruce know, that coming up with the

bottle is a difficult proposition. I had done some internet research and determined that Petchouli is a scent much

loved by many women and a sexual attractant to women. So, why do women wear it and not men? Is it too feminine?

This past long weekend I decided to experiment a bit. We partied pretty hard this weekend with several sexual

partners (5 different women for me in 5 days, we started last Thurs night). I used my now standard mix of equal

parts AE/m and Chikara - mixed well and applied to my whole upper torso (6 sprays Chikara, 6 drops AE/m). I then

layed on top of that, but just on my wrist/lower arm, a good dab of Sue's petchouli mix. I asked each women what

they thought and they all liked it immensley. So, I plan to experiment more with this but am still wondering if it

is "too feminine" for a man to wear. Anybody have any thoughts/ideas? Thanks!

I used to wear patchouli a lot in

the 70s. I think when I smell it now, I remember those times, but I always associate it with being a hippie; not

feminie at all, just kind of strong, unwashed, primal mud or something. Maybe I just used too much. We briefly had

a product called (forget the name at the moment) which smelled a lot of patchouli. I liked it, but nobody else

seemed to.

Last point on the topic: I know Doc will disagree with me on this, but the new product Arrouser

smells like patchouli to me somehow even though there is none in the mixture. When customers write in looking for

something that smells like patchouli, I always recommend Arrouser.

Right, it is the old

"hippie" scent and it does bring back memories, often fond ones, of the "good ole days". I did just get back from

the Vet's, female mid 50s Dr, and she was very nice and wanted to chat with me a bit even though it was busy there

today. I'll keep this up for a while and see what happens.

Sorry, i've

GOT to say the obvious...

five women in five days and you're wondering if it's too feminine for you to wear

laughing here, point taken.

I guess what I should be saying "is it too feminine for a guy to wear when he's out and about"? We both are beat

today. And, thank God for Viagra.

Patchouli is truly unisex,

equally valuable and effective for men and women. It blends great with pheromones, and is right up there with

sandalwood at the top of the E oils for that. Thee is quite a bit of it in Pheros.

she's pretty much ok with

it, certainly not always though, her being bisexual helps a lot.

koolking1 is the man! You

must be in really good condition to handle all that playing around. You must let all of us in on your secret to

success.

Actually I could be in

better shape. I was walking 5 miles a day but have been lazy the past two weeks (vacation and partying). The

secret to my success is very simple, you just need to have a wife/girlfriend who will swing with you. There's tons

of couples doing this and it can be a lot of fun. However, I would not recommend it for young couples although

there seem to be a lot of them doing it. It requires a certain amount of maturity. I do enjoy using pheromones in

this type of situation and they do work, and well.

So are you the lure or is your

gf? Or do you go to special places where its already taken for granted that you "swing"? You said you hook up with

couples...does that mean you have sex with both or just trade partners for the night? Also, after using viagra, are

your experiences noticably less pleasurable when you do not use it? Sorry for all the questions...Intrigued and a

bit frightened at the same time.

We belong to a pay website

that's dedicated to swingers and meet people there. The fact that my girlfriend is attractive for her age helps

immensley. But, we're both the lure in the final scheme of things. We tend to meet couples that have a bisexual

wife/GF and in our general age bracket (50s). We usually have sex with all 4 people in the bed, the woman usually

spend some time together, the guys rarely even touch (not so many bi-guys and women don't usually like to see that

anyways). I've haven't used Viagra much and still have one dose left from the "ask your Dr about Viagra freebie".

I hear they cost $12 each and are usually not covered by health insurance. The orgasm has varied for me while

using Viagra, from fairly intense to just regular. I don't use it for that reason though. It does let one stay

hard for up to several hours but not if you orgasm. Women sometimes get annoyed with men who use it as it can

become damn near impossible for them to have an orgasm while using it.

I didn't mean to end that

just yet: I don't think non-Viagra orgasms are any lesser of an event, they just often come sooner, especially if

the woman is hot to me in some way. You shouldn't feel frightened at all about asking these questions and there is

plenty of info on the web about it. If you want to explore the site we use just PM me and I'll tell you the URL.

Hey, this thread took a left

turn! I remember patchouli oil well. We used it to cover up the smell of pakalolo. Earth daddys used it to cover up

their BO. It almost lasts forever. Someone spilt patchouli on an old leather jacket of mine and it smelled like

patchouli for over 10 years. It's a rare scent in 2004 outside of natural food stores and crystal strokin'

hangouts. It will certainly cover any phero--if you can stand it--even EW.

Well, this is Sue, the g/f. I

find patchouli a bit overwhelming, but, guys, women do seem attracted to it, for whatever reason... perhaps the good

old days. I "inherited" many outfits from an old hippie friend of mine, and they still "smell like Celia" to me.

Now mine do, too.

I myself mix patchouli with Chanel #5 and Shalimar and ylang ylang--to sweeten it a bit.

I just mix until it smells right. And, when it smells right, it smells like Nantucket summer by the ocean to me.

My own connotations.

Bill put it on this weekend, as he reports, and I couldn't smell it on him because I'm

so saturated with it myself! (LOL!_) I told him, when I analyzed it intellectually, that he might run the risk of

smelling like a gay actor. What do you all think?

From Magical

AromatherapyThe Power of Scent, by Scott

Cunningham:

PATCHOULY
(Pogostemom patchouli)

PART USED:dried

leaves, essential oil
PLANET: Saturn
ELEMENT: Earth
MAGICAL INFLUENCES: Sex, Physical energy,

Money

Pity the poor downtrodden patchouly. This aroma took a real dip in popularity after the psychedelic

'60s, when adulterated patchouly was used to mask the odor of marijuana smoke. To this day, many people dislike

patchouly. Genuine patchouly essential oil has a deep, rich scent. It accurately captures the earthy, musky

sweetness of the dried plant.

The scent of patchouly is useful in arousing sexual desire and has been

celebrated as such for well over a century. With proper visualization, it releases anexity regarding sex and

prepares its user for an enjoyable experience.

To get yourself going in the morning, smell patchouly oil for

a few seconds. It quickly starts you up.

I'm probably not the only one who's dug up rich, humus-filled dirt

and noted that its scent often closely resembles patchouly. Due to this curious connection, patchouly is also used

to manifest needed money. Put a few drops of the dark oil onto a cotton ball. Inhale and

visualize.

Well, the description is a little on the mystical side, but still an interesting

description. It was this book that first gave me an interest in playing with aromatherapy. I gave a few recopes out

of it in the perfume thread and often use a patchouli/ginger/cedar/vetivert/jojoba oil mixture on my paper money.

The other notes wear off but it seems the patchouli seems to grow in strength after a few days.

I think

patchouli is a unisex scent, but I do think "hippie" myself if I smell someone wearing too much. I sometimes put a

couple of dabs of the oil I mix on myself though.

yes, back on track!!! I'm

still looking for it and not finding it but someone published a list of natural oils and a sort of percentage scheme

of what oils are best for attracting other people. I can't remember the exact percentage but Petchouli was, if I

recall correctly, something like "90% strong female attractant". You can buy the stuff wholesale in Indonesia but

Sue finds it at small "hippie" or "new age" stores. I wouldn't know if Bruce has an interest, but it might be

appreciated/profitable if he started stocking and selling some of the more popular essential oils for forum members

(and anyone else for that matter) so they can make their own perfumes with the pheromones and the oils from one

preferred source.

And, thank God for

Viagra.
take Dostinex 30 minutes before taking Viagra/Cialis, and you become Sex God, ROX!!! try it.....

but I prefer Cialis which has longer effect (24 hours) than Viagra (only 5 hours).
