have a midfielder like Deco (star of the european champions FC Porto, that by the way, humiliated Manchester United

in Portugal when FC Porto won 2-1... the result was the better part of the game for Manchester, they were

devastated). England doesn't have a defender center like Ricardo Carvalho (he's the best defender center of all

Europe and pay attention that I AM NOT an FC Porto fan, I hate FC Porto, but I gotta admit, R Carvalho is the best).

I could go on, but it seems SO OBVIOUS that Portugal has far better team than England, as the european press has

said lately.

By the way, all european press was unanimous. The goal disallowed to England was fair, there was a

Very, very true CJ. The Italians were one of the worst teams in this Euro IMO. Imagine what

happens when a coach is forced to maintain balances between "celebrities", instead of players :p, to decide who's

Holland played BAD against Portugal and not

accepting this is simply miserable.

As for the English, they got out because Bechham lost 2 matches by

himself by missing two penalties. 1 with France, 1 in the quarter finals (it wasnt the only one they missed, however

it was the first they kicked and thus the most important).

The penalty with France was really important. If

didn't make any errors that could affect the final result. What are you talking about?! Portugal was SO SO superior

this Euro2004...

Considering the finantial possibilities of a country like Portugal (compared to England, for

example), the possibility of being the European Champions (if we win this final), plus the fact that FC Porto

(portuguese team) is the european champion... well, you know what I mean. Manchester United has more money than all

the portuguese football teams, ALL TOGETHER!

But Greece is a very difficult opponent! They were first in the

qualifying round (first, ahead of Spain)... then second in the group phase... then they have beaten France and the

Check Republic!

They're not the best but they are now the champion. They don't have great players also,

they're just lucky. Even if you have the best players like The Netherlands, but if you don't have luck then

you're the loosers....

very lucky in this EURO 2004 but even the champions need some luck! And they have beaten Portugal TWICE!

Portugal

was superior in all matches of this EURO 2004 (especially against Holland) except in the matches against Greece!



Greece knows how to play against the BIG teams, but when playing against teams "like them" (Russia)... too

Considering the finantial

possibilities of a country like Portugal (compared to England, for example), the possibility of being the European

Champions (if we win this final), plus the fact that FC Porto (portuguese team) is the european champion... well,

you know what I mean. Manchester United has more money than all the portuguese football teams, ALL TOGETHER!

But

Greece is a very difficult opponent! They were first in the qualifying round (first, ahead of Spain)... then second

in the group phase... then they have beaten France and the Check Republic!

Portugal is a good team but Greece still won. You know I think that even if they hadn´t won they´d have

still been all pretty happy I mean when did a greek footie team last get this far in a major tournament :) But now

the top IMO! But Totti (sp???) on the other hand deserved to be barred no doubt. Btw did you guys notice how
