I just opened my

Yahoo accounts today and found they've upped the storage limit to 100MB (from 6MB), and you can send emails with up

to 10MB each (instead of 3MB)!

Yea!!!!!

(I'm easily impressed. :o )

The only problem i see with this,

is we would probebly get more spam mail, to delete.

Your spam (at least when it's in

the bulk folder) is automatically deleted after 30 days. (and doesn't count toward the 100 mb either ;) )

And you can set it to delete sooner, even immediately. Before you ever see it.

That's true, but sometimes normal mail get's inside the bulk-mail too, and you would not want

that deleted either. So you still have to watch dose hundreds and hundreds of spam mail to spot the real-mail. and

filter it out.

Wish I'd had the 100MB capacity

when I actually needed it, but better late than never.

Maybe because it's free and they can give you whatever they

want to give you when it's free. :p Storage space, however, is at an all-time high and people are giving all kinds

of freebies out now to get advertising and activity for their site.

I'm still amazed that I now have 100 MB.

This'll be a major shot at the media industry, I think...now you have file sharing and simple e-mailing

capabilities of mp3s, etc.

Hey now.... WTF!!!! My ISP was taken over by SBC a couple of years ago and almost immediately

merged with Yahoo:mad: I had to go from my Outlook Express mail server to using a Yahoo mail server. I got to keep

my original email address, but it all goes through Yahoo, with all the limits that were places on the free accounts

even though I was a paying customer who was forced to use their crappy mail program:eek:

This upgrade is two

freakin years to late IMO... at least they finally got rid of those damn adverts that used to take up 1/2 the

page:rolleyes:

Sorry... I just needed to vent when I saw the topic of this thread:D
