Two probably

easy-to-answer questions:

I got a rep response that was black (or dark blue). What does that mean? Is that

like, "I have a neutral stance toward your post..."?

What happens when you put someone on your

"buddy list"? I mean, with Instant Messenger you can see if they're on and everything, but I haven't noticed what

happens when you make a forum member a buddy.

The black mark is still a positive.

I think it is black because the person that gave it to you doesn't have a lot/any rep points. One of the first ones

I got was from Franki and it was a positive but it was black.

If you put someone on your buddy list and their

name is visible, you will see a little plus sign next to their name on top of the page. Besides for that, I have no

idea what else the point is.

Thank you! :)

I think a good way to have that system is

have an "add to buddy list" and "accept addition to buddy list" system so that you can see invisible people if they

are on your buddy list.

That way, you could SMS invisible people if they "give you permission" by adding you to

their buddy list!

Wow, what a great idea! I wonder if it could work... :)

That sounds great, but I doubt it

is possible.

It could work, but it may take

too long for the Webmaster to have time to work on it...

thread where they were trying to blow me up. :D (I got points from a few others as well on that thread! Thanks! :)

:) )

It was black because Bass didn't have any points at the time.

Adding on to that, if someone were to actually try this, you could even have your buddy

list on a separate screen or on the side of the page or below the "these people are currently online" screen or

whatever like on Instant Messenger so you can see which of your 'buddies' are really online, etc. ;)

Not a bad idea is correct!

So, how does the rep points thing

work anyway? The greater your rep level, the more points you can give out with one hit or what?

Bruce

I have no idea how it works but I hope you noticed I gave you Good Rep! It was the least I

could do for trying to get my little buddy *D* back.

This is very good news for Ash. It means the one bad Rep I

got was really a good Rep. I'm so happy. I'll go GR the guy right now. Thanks E. You've been cheering me up all

day long! I'd GR you but it won't let me yet.

Bruce It certain looks like that.

Could you maybe lower the amount of people you have to give rep to

(I believe it's 20 now). I can hardly give anyone rep in the last few days, cause everyone already got rep from

me.

Another thing: I can't see any

smilies anymore in the rep comments people give. :(
