DZ,

There are only 3 titles

at the moment, but we can add as many and varied as we want. For starters I will set them up the way we had them

on the old forum. In addition to titles this forum also has "rankings" and user "ratings"!

Surely rankings and ratings will only lead to

alienation and cliquey popularity contests?

stuff like that always gets ugly. Especially when it can be done

so anonymously.

But that's just my 2000 Dinars.

I

agree with Steve. We don't need rankings and ratings IMHO.

Rankings are very similar to the

"titles" you are familiar with. They are based on the number of posts. Ratings, if I understand this right, are

far more complex than a simple popularity contest. They are based on quite a few forum activities which are

automatically formulated according to some sort of algorythm. The opinions of fellow users are just one variable in

the equation. Most importantly though, each user has the ability/right to either make his/her rating private or

shut the thing off altogether I think.

Not to worry,

Icarus,

What's wrong with

the avatars? They should be working.
