I chucked all my diluted EW out

today and mixed up a fresh batch to play with. I had previously only used a really small amount of ethanol and the

rest was all water but this time I went for the ethanol and it was much better than just water! It really doesn´t

smell as bad when you use alc! WOW.
Unfortunately I thought it was so cool I went a bit overboard and ended up

adding a bit too much EW so it´s stinky again now /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif I need to take

some off and add more ethanol and see what happens /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I don´t

know if this is of interest to those with the new EW but for the others who have the beta version, it´s really does

seem make a big difference using alc rather than just(tap) water.

I mixed a few drops of

the new stuff into a big jar of scented lotion and after a few days it started to smell a bit off. I wonder if it

would help with the new stuff too?

...there is

something about it aging, (molecules dipersing) and perhaps it \"ages faster\" with the ethanol.

Do you mean ages slower with the ethanol?

<hr

doesn´t smell as bad. I do think it stays fresher with the ethanol. I mean there´s a reason most prods are diluted

with alc right? Perhaps you´re right though, but as long as the effectives doesn´t wear off who cares?

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif However using tap water certainly makes it go off

quicker.

We´ll see how this batch does /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

properly. Can you smell the cops?

OR, there might be

something in the tap water that\'s interacting?? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

well yes, tap water´s tap

water it´s never sterile. Distilled water is what you want but I didn´t have any at the time

but when I first make the stuff it smells fine for a few days and then gets yucky. So

doesn\'t that make aging a bad thing in this case?
